About Us

Food For Thought is the culmination of over 20 years experience in the catering industry. The company is lead by our chef, Simon, who has worked all over the world in countless different environments including 5 star restaurants. We work hard to maintain our solid reputation whilst continuing to innovate and push our skills to the next level.

We are specialist wedding caterers based in Nerja, on the Costa del sol in Spain. Past events we have provided for include private dinner parties, corporate events, festivals and of course, weddings. We believe that the quality of service we offer is unrivalled in the area and we strive to not only provide the best quality food on the costa, but to match that quality in every aspect of what we do.

Our front of house team

To ensure all of our events run as smoothly as possible, our front-of-house staff are polite, hard-working and friendly. From the very start of the day, our whole team are on site to get your event set up and ready for your arrival.

Once you and your guests arrive at the venue, the kitchen and front-of-house teams work together to provide you with a quality of service that we believe to be unrivalled all across the costa. We have one goal in mind and that is to make sure not only that you have the fiesta to remember but also that your guests are talking about it for years to come!

Our staff are all chosen for their level of expertise from bartenders to waitresses to cocktail making and detail to creative decoration.

Simon’s catering service and food are absolutely superb! We had amazing canapés, a hog roast, sea bass, salads, profiteroles and strawberry pavlova and our wedding guests told us it was the best food at any wedding they’d ever been too. Simon is a professional and his waitressing and bar staff just lovely! Simon has been a chef in 5 star hotels throughout the world and you won’t be able to find anyone better for your wedding catering!
